we love this place. a quick but very nice happy hour. they kindly split their great salads to two plates without being asked. pizzas are yummy and different from what we have in petaluma. they really upgraded the decor to a very nice place to hang out. lots of nice beers and wine in tap

Delicious pizza. It's super cozy and the staff were very friendly. I'm not a big fan of pizza but it was so good here I would 100% come back next time I'm in the area. It was not too doughy, it was just crispy enough without being burnt, the sauce was just delicious. We got the Siberian Husky.

Driving through town, we found this place via other Yelp reviews, and very pleased. The pizza was delicious, crust held really well and so tasty. Loved the vodka cream red sauce. We added on the Italian sausage, also tasty. For starters, the trifecta, with their meatball, garlic knots and wings, all delicious, with a side of ranch for the wings! We ordered a Hazy IPA and that was good too. The service was great, friendly guy waited us. The ambiance was fine, we didn't want any place fancy. The tables were a bit crowded, so we opted for bar style table. There was a big party there so noise level seemed a bit loud. Oh and I don't usually give out 5 star reviews, would do 4.5 for these folks!

What a fabulous pizza! Sourdough crust. They have a great selection to choose from. Quality ingredients. We ordered a Greek salad and Cesar and loved them both. The draft beer selection (about 15) are all Sonoma County! New owners renovated it from previous owners and it is so much more enjoyable. Staff super friendly.

Best pizza place I've ever been to in Sonoma County. We have some great ones, but best in Petaluma! Staff always friendly and knowledgeable. Management always welcoming!! Definitely worth the visit! They even have some great Non Alcoholic beers

About 2 dozen taps with local and craft brews. They serve some of the best Za in town. The crust is good and crispy on the outside yet soft and chewy on the inside. The red sauce is bright and tangy. The toppings are good quality and there is a wide selection of them. They only do 12" pizzas, but 1 pie is good enough to share for 2. The greek salad was delicious with fresh veggies and the shredded lettuce makes for a delicate dish. My kids devoured the garlic knots. Next time will need to order 2 baskets. Their wine selection has room for improvement, but they are known as a tap house so it's understandable. The service was attentive and the facilities were clean and modern. Shout out to Symphony our excellent server who made our first visit so excellent!

This is one of our go to spots for pizza! We've always had a good experience here, with good service. There's a bar seating, tables and booths. We mainly come here because of the good, maybe best vegan pizza options in Sonoma County, they have a whole section Vegetarian and Vegan section on menu. They also offer gluten free crust. And have a good selection of beers, including one NA beer. The biggest size pizza they offer is 12" that's my only complaint, wish they offered bigger sizes to share more and have leftovers, because it's good! We recently ordered the Down to Earth pizza with their regular crust and it was really good! And I always make a dash over to Whole Foods next door for some vegan ranch! They have pizza slices. This place is good good and definitely recommend and we will continue to come here!

A great place for pizza and a nice local addition to the Petaluma food scene, Stonework Pizza & Tap represents a labor of love for owners Pat and Laura Townsley, whose pizza making journey began with Creekside Pizza & Taproom in San Anselmo. Located in the Meridian Commercial Center that is anchored by a Whole Foods Market, Stonework Pizza & Tap opened earlier this year taking over the home that was once Rafy's Pizza. Stonework is so named because they "push-out" their handcrafted pizzas on stone slabs whose materials are sourced from quarries, landscaping suppliers and stone fabricators throughout Sonoma County. In keeping with this theme at Stonework, they prefer to call their pizza "stone-fired gourmet craft pizza," as they are inspired by pizza dough that is predominate in New York with their twelve inch pies that aspire to use premium locally sourced toppings which gives their pizza a nice flavor combination and balanced finish. Also known for their craft beers served on tap, in addition to cider and kombucha and support for serving Sonoma County wines what brought a friend and I here on recent weekend afternoon after a day of wine tasting was a desire for sustenance and to support a new local establishment, plus the fact that they have Happy Hour on weekends was a bonus. When we arrived a little after 4 p.m. they were not busy, as they had just opened for the day for service, but when we left about ninety minutes later, their small dining room was packed with diners. The menu at Stonework Pizza & Tap is split into three types of pizzas, fourteen Specialty Pizzas featuring proteins or meat, eight Specialty Vegetarian or Vegan Pizzas, as well as many options under the Build Your Own Pizza. We decided to split their Sonoma Stampede Speciality Pizza which had red sauce and mozzarella, in addition to being topped with all their premium meats including salami, pepperoni, Italian sausage, BBQ chicken, Applewood smoked bacon, and Stonework meatballs, topped with a marinara drizzle. Their menu has Appetizers, Salads and Desserts and to start our meal, we decided to share their Trifecta, which featured one of their Must-Have Meatballs, which were made of Angus beef and served on a bed of marinara and topped with parmesan cheese; two of their Garlic Knots, which are brushed with their blend of butter, olive oil, herbs, garlic and sea salt; and three of their Wings Over Midtown, which were marinated in garlic, paprika and cayenne pepper. After an afternoon of wine tasting, we chose not to enjoy any beer on tap or glasses of wine, and it was more than okay as our appetizer came out first and it was a great way to experience any of their dishes without ordering them all, plus the size of the dish was perfect for us first timers. Then our pizza came out and it was the perfect size to share between two people with so many fresh ingredients on every slice, we easily could have enjoyed a pizza by the slice and been more than satisfied. Despite not enjoying any of their signature beverages, we really had a wonderful time at Stonework Pizza & Tap, as their food is hearty and well composed. The energy is fun as they have sports and music videos playing on their two flat-panel screens which faces their small bar in which diners can see their beers being poured from the tap up close. Our total bill was $34.60 before gratuity was added in, which was reasonable since we received enough food with two extra pizza slices to take home for a future meal, as they offer 5 dollars off all pizzas, and two dollars off all appetizers among other discounts. We just wish the Happy Hour were longer to enjoy as the food, service and vibe at Stonework Pizza & Tap rocks as they are a welcome addition to the local Petaluma dining scene that will hopefully be here for years to come!

Highly recommend the garlic knots. They were gone in 5 mins, and I wish we'd gotten 2 orders! If you're a fan of "medium-crust" (neither thin nor deep), you should definitely check them out. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is I prefer thinner crust and found this a bit bready at times. That said, the flavor of the crust is excellent. Sourdough is tasty! I also love the generous and fresh toppings. My veggie pizza was truly loaded, and my husband's with the works had a ton of yumminess on top.
